About Dada Cooking
Dada Cooking is Devin's home recipe collection, kept in Malaysia.
Recipes are collected from cookbooks and recipe websites and rewritten in one standard format: metric quantities first (grams for dry ingredients and fats, millilitres for liquids, eggs as counts), oven temperatures in °C with °F in brackets, pan sizes in cm with inches in brackets, and numbered steps. A Metric / US switch on every recipe shows US cups and ounces instead. Where each recipe came from is recorded privately in the archive.
Recipes found online are marked as not independently verified, and their quantities and times are provisional.
Ask Cook Bot is an AI helper that runs on Devin's own computer. It answers from this recipe archive first; when a recipe isn't in the archive, it searches online and adds what it finds to the archive in the same format.
The site works offline for recipes you have already opened, and the cooking mode reads one step at a time.
